Costa Rica hotels come in all shapes and sizes, everything from bare bones eco-lodges, all-inclusive resorts and world class luxury hotels such as the Four Seasons. Don't misunderstand us: even some eco-lodges are luxurious, making your time in the tropical forest as mosquito free and air conditioned as possible.
There are also a number of great little 'niche' or 'boutique' hotels in many of the most popular destinations. They offer unique experiences to the traveler, such as Hotel Parador in Manuel Antonio with it's incredible views of the Pacific, or Capitan Suizo in Tamarindo. These along with many others can be a great alternative to the larger, more crowded mega-hotels.
