Cocles Beach

Cocles is a long white sand beach, full of tall coconut trees, good waves for surfing and some small spots for swimming. A Lifeguard Program is sponsored by the local business in order to maintain this beach as a safe place and in good condition.
There are a few good places to stay in the area. A good variety of restaurants offer international food and delicious local dishes.

- How to get there ?
- The best times to visit this area are the months of March-April and September-October. Although you can go any time, hurricanes in the Caribbean may affect the whether pretty bad and cause flooding.
- When to go?
- From Puerto Viejo take highway 1 south. Cocles is the next village. The road is paved all the way.
