Due to being one of the closest beaches from the main cities, is usually crowded by locals. Surfing is becoming very popular here, with a perfect left mainly for experienced surfers.

There are a few facilities at this beach such us barbeque areas, showers, bathrooms and cabins to stay over.

Drive on highway #1 all the way to the main intersection towards Puntarenas. Take #17 and follow the signs to Playa Doña Ana before you get to Puntarenas city.
