Nestled in the saddle between the Poas and Barva Volcanoes is La Paz Waterfall Gardens. 3.5 km of trails lead through several enchanting attractions such us Butterfly Observatory with over 20 different species, Orchid houses, Hummingbird Gardens, Serpentarium, Frog exhibit, and Typical Casita. Follow the trails along the river to viewing platforms above 5 waterfalls. After a strenuous hike back up to the top, feast on a typical Costa Rican lunch and then sit in a rocking chair and drink your coffee while hummingbirds buzz the feeders in front of you.
