Manzanillo Beach
-
This rocky beach is good for snorkeling at the morning low tide when you can walk over the rocks to a large lagoon, protected by a rocky reef. There is also a good surf spot at the beach.
This place still keeps the old costarican coast life stile, therefore except for the sandcastle competition there is not much in regards to accommodations or restaurants available for visitors.
- Category: Beaches - Central Pacific
- How to get there ?
- Manzanillo is located North of Mal País and Santa Teresa. To get here, we recommend to take the Tambor ferryboat to Paquera. Then drive to Tambor, Cóbano, Santa Teresa and Manzanillo de Ario.
- When to go?
- The weather is sunny and hot most of the time year round. However, the best time to visit is in the dry season: December to April.
