Besides of surfing, which is probably one of the main attractions for this beach, Nosara has a beautiful estuary along with the river mouth of the Nosara River. Therefore here you can mix beach with river canoeing, bird watching, hiking through tough terrain and so forth.

Local fishermen keep their original fishing stile, which can be observed every day on the incoming tide. The village of Nosara and the surroundings have different kind of accommodations to fit the budget.
