Palo Seco Beach

Palo Seco is an island with an extension of 6 miles long and ¼ mile wide. Surfing, swimming and beach sports can be held at this beach. Behind this narrow island there is a navigable mangrove estuary which follows the ocean tides. A variety of bird species, monkeys, iguanas, squirrels and wild life can be seen if you sail the estuary. This area has recently become a tourist relaxing destination. Nice beach front vacation rental homes are built along the stretch, and a few hotels are becoming popular here too.

When to go?
Any time, but the best time is the dry season, December to April.
