Brett Cole

A professional photographer carrying out field work for conservation groups throughout the globe (currently in Africa).  His specialties are wild birds, tropical and temperate rainforests, old-growth forests, conservation issues, macro work, wild plants, and people.  Brett i the author of the official photo book of the renowned Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica, and his second book on tropical rainforests is due out in Spring 2009.  We feel very privileged to have some of his work on our site.  We invite you to visit his official web site at http://www.wildnorthwest.org/

Gabriela Sánchez

Gabriela loves taking photos of her homeland. She has been all over the country from the canals of Tortuguero to the frontiers of Panama and has the photos to prove it. Her favorite works are catching people and nature in true settings such as an Abuelita (Grandma) making tortillas on an old iron stove or a young child riding a pony to school in a pueblito (little town). When she can she ventures into the most remote areas to capture God's creatures in their natural setting. She has shared these images with us here in Try Costa Rica and we are happy to share them with you. Gabriela believes that through photography we can help others to become aware of the plight of endangered species and learn to respect nature. Her images tell the story better than words.

Federico Koper

Federico is the General Manager of MPC in Costa Rica, but his real passion is photography. He is a Volcanologist by education and a has award winning photos of Arenal Volcano. He has kindly contributed one of his award winning photos to be used on our site for which we are most grateful.
